Now this is something to blog!
I was working on a Toyota corolla yesterday, car won't start, I didn't get a chance to get more details, as it was a quick job, anyway all went good, car is working, and owner didn't pay 1/4 what I asked, no problem so far, I'm used to this kind of customers who persuade me that the key was damaged because of me at the first place! .. one thing about this corolla, is that I didn't feel like the problem is with the key... but I was happy when it worked ...

Alright it's about today,.. today came a Toyota Hilux, all keys lost, the owner left the car early at my key shop, and I began working, first I looked for a 16 pin OBD, but I didn't see it, looked for an immobiliser and again I couldn't see one, simply because this was the first Hilux.. I don't know where those would exist, and, somehow I wanted things to be different with this car, it's not a land cruiser, then the immo shouldn't be at the same location thats what I thought !!!
So I kept searching til I found the ecu .. and here began the story, I got myself in a real mess!
trying to virgin the ecu, look for the immo.. with no hope
until finally I thought of looking for the immo under the radio. found it, programmed it using zedbull, car started .. it didn't take more than 30 minutes .. but I spent more than 4 hours in vain.
experience, is VERY important. you never learn the easy way.
