Fiat FIORINO 1997

FIAT FIORINO, ...
Basic info :

  • Ecu is bosch motronic,

  • Immobiliser : immo 01.01

  • Transponder:  Id 11
The car arrived to me few months ago with keys lost
but we didn't have agreement with the owners at that time, although we already prepared a key for it..
Later,.. a week or so ago, we learnt that the car was sold in an auction.
the buyers are friends of us,.. they called asking for a solution..
Having seen the this car before, the car wasn't much work really.. just coded the key using data in the immobilizer, the programming made by Zedbull device.
Here is where the problem began,.. because two days after the car had ran smoothly, we've been called again, the car immo lights are on.
We tried to reprogram the key, but stll it didn't work,..
Then we tried to read the MCU in the immobilizer again,.. to notice that the data inside it hasn't changed.
now we started working with the Bosch ECU
The Eeprom inside is 24c02, after many many trials, over about three days, in which the car worked for an hour or two, then the lights turned on again, we found out the follwoing...: The ECU writes back to the eeprom, after we edit it's dump..
This happens whether we disabled the Immobilizer, or kept it working - as I said, there was no problem with the immo itself or the key.
Eventually, we replaced the eeprom with another one , added a working dump, let the car work,.. unplug the ECU again, and left the 7th pin;connect it to pin8 to WP the eeprom ..
The car worked perfectly for three days, til the owner decided to wash the car, and filled the ECU with water!!!!

Lucky he was, cleaning the ECU from inside was enough, nothing was damaged . The car is working again.

 Summery:
Programmed key with Zedbull, but the problem was in the ECU, used virgin dump, and immo off dump, problem remains.
Must WP the eeprom.
Why did  the car immo turn back to activated after an hour or two??
